What started as a vision to showcase South Dakota's best, turned into a tradition of excellence- bringing in well over 100 contestants across state lines. The South Dakota Timed Event Championship has continued to prove itself as the premier youth rodeo event in the state. Our mission is to support youth, families and the longstanding tradition of Rodeo within South Dakota and beyond. This is not your average youth rodeo. The Northern Plain's toughest youth competitors vie for the coveted title of Champion, along with top-of-the-line awards, 7 saddles, cash prizes and more. To make things even sweeter, we host at the South Dakota State Fair over Labor Day weekend- what a venue!
